Diverse arts initiatives are springing to life! Lake Region Arts Council funds projects spanning from graphic arts tours to theatrical performances in its spring grants round.
Lake Region Arts Council awards nearly $100,000 to 18 regional arts organizations supporting theatre, music, visual arts in central Minnesota.
Over the years, LRAC has proudly supported a number of projects that showcase the strength and unity of rural communities across the Lake Region. One of these projects, funded by one of our 2022 Organizational Legacy Grants, went to a worthy cause in Clay County to create and implement five large-scale murals on behalf of Churches United for the Homeless in Moorhead.
Though the deadline to submit applications for 2022 Spring Legacy Grants has passed, LRAC is set to break records for funding requests at their upcoming grant reviews. Unfortunately, because of the even greater amounts requested, many very worthy projects will not receive funding. This makes Virtual Arts Advocacy Week even more important than ever….
