The Guest Juror Exhibit is always very popular with reginal artists and gallery guests. The exhibit features the very best work from our regional artists and is a must see for our Gallery visitors. Our guest juror this year is Nancy Ariza. is a printmaker, educator, and arts and cultural organizer. She holds an MA in Education from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, specializing in culturally responsive teaching, and a BA in Art History and BFA in Printmaking from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Open to the 9 regional counites of artist who wish to partner on a collaboration to install art in the gallery space. Artist will use their vision and talents to transform the LRAC Main Gallery space into a unique visual experience. This collaboration can be between a visual artist(s) and a literary artist(s) and/or musical artist(s) to transfer the gallery space. We ask the collaborating team of two to three artist to think of the gallery space in a fresh new perspective how they will use the space, lighting, moveable walls and street presence of the Gallery in a new way.

These activities are made possible by the voters of Minnesota through Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
