LRAC Office for the Day 〰︎
Our Executive Director is coming to your community, and he wants to hear from you!
We are here for you.
LRAC exists to support artists and arts communities across nine counties in west central Minnesota. Support means more than providing opportunities and connections, it means showing up.
Starting this September, LRAC Executive Director Tim Wollenzien is traveling to each of the nine counties to hear you out. At each stop, he'll set up an LRAC Office for the Day with one of the local organizations, and we encourage you to come visit with him. LRAC wants to know what's growing in your community, what's going well, what's hard, or what you wish we understood better about where you live. Its a great chance to ask the grant question you've been sitting on. Share something your community is doing that we should know about. Or just come say hello.
These visits exist because we want to know more of it, and because the best way to do that is to stop waiting for people to come to us. Come chat with us, and if you want to submit questions ahead of time, just click the link below to submit a question or feedback about arts in your region.

Tim will have information about LRAC's grant programs and current deadlines on hand, and he's happy to walk through any of it. But the visit isn't a briefing. It's a conversation, and he's there as much to listen as to answer.
You might talk about:
A grant you're curious about or an application you're working on
Your current project: what you're cultivating and what support might help it grow
What's happening in the arts in your community, what's thriving and what's missing
How LRAC could be better rooted in your county
Someone else Tim should meet while he's in your county
If you're not sure LRAC is for you, that's a good reason to stop by too. Come find out.
