FY22 Grant Update: MSUM School of Art

Over the years, LRAC has proudly supported a number of projects that showcase the strength and unity of rural communities across the Lake Region. One of these projects, funded by one of our 2022 Organizational Legacy Grants, went to a worthy cause in Clay County to create and implement five large-scale murals on behalf of Churches United for the Homeless in Moorhead.

LRAC is incredibly proud of the many artists, organizations, and projects we’ve helped support through Grant Opportunities like the Legacy Grant. This Spring, one of those awardees, the City of Pelican Rapids, utilized funding to help a sixth-grade class work with Midwestern artist, Paul Johnson, to create a community mural that will last the test of time.
