From studying with masters to once-in-a-lifetime performances to new takes on traditional arts, the five recipients of Lake Region Arts Council’s 2023 Quick Start Grants illustrate the strength and diversity of area arts.
Eight Artists Selected to Receive Artist Quick Start Grant Funding
On Tuesday, September 20, 2022, eight artists within the LRAC 9-county region were selected for this year’s Artist Quick Start Grants. Funded by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council through The McKnight Foundation, each artist will be awarded $1,000 to go towards activities and projects resulting in career development and artistic achievement.
