LRAC Spring Project Grants for 2022 Announces Awardees

Total of $20,194 Awarded to Eight Local Area Arts Organizations

On March 15, 2022, the Lake Region Arts Council (LRAC) Board awarded eight arts organizations $20,194 of funding for the LRAC Spring Project grant round.

From a previous year, students rehearse at A Center for the Arts in Fergus Falls.

The Spring Project Grant had a cap of $3,000 and is intended to fund productions, exhibits, touring artists & school residencies. Projects funded in this grant round include jazz and choir concerts, a Native American beading class, two Prairie Fire Children’s theatre residencies, and more.

Our Spring Project round was quite competitive, with seventeen applicants. The next opportunity for organizations to apply for the Project Grant will take place in the fall of 2022. In the meantime, LRAC extends our congratulations to the following grant awardees:
