Fund Your Artistic Activities with a Legacy Grant
The LRAC Spring Legacy Grant Round is here! Applications are now open for individuals, organizations, and local government applicants for a portion of over $225,000 in available funding.
The LRAC Legacy Grants are funded through a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund, made possible by the Clean Water, Land, and Legacy amendment to the State Constitution that passed in 2008. At LRAC, these funds are awarded in two grant rounds in the Fall and Spring and include categories meant to accommodate just about anyone interested in getting funding for their art pursuits.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
The LRAC Spring Legacy grant round opened on January 10, 2022, and includes three categories: individuals, nonprofit organizations and public entities, and local governments. The overall spring funding is split up between these groups, with $43,099 available for individuals, $174,689 available for qualified organizations, and $10,000 available for a local government. This is more funding than usual due to an increase in Fiscal Year 2022 funding from the State Legislature based on a favorable forecast of state revenue collection.
