$200 Winner for Needs Assessment Survey Announced!

LRAC Thanks All Survey Participants

Special Congratulations to Penny Kagigebi

Over 140 people participated in LRAC’s Needs Assessment Survey this last February to help us understand what you value most in our various programs. It also gave you the opportunity to voice ideas and suggest improvements we could make for our Fiscal Year 2022-2023.

Penny Kagigebi of Becker County, with her check for $200 from the Needs Assessment Survey drawing.

Those who completed this survey were put into a drawing for the chance to win $200 at random and one lucky winner was chosen: Penny Kagigebi of Becker County! We wish to congratulate her and thank all of those who participated in this survey. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will help shape programming in the coming year.

Your Answers and What We Discovered

Young boy receives paint in a cup from an adult woman

Your responses to the survey told us that COVID has had a huge impact on audiences, artists, and arts organizations. Everyone is eager to attend events in the future, and we recognize that it will take time and support to get through the upcoming year.

Another interesting thing we learned was that all of our ideas for new programming were rated important or very important. Increasing access to the arts for at risk youth also had a slightly higher rating than supporting public art in community development, those facing barriers due to a disability, or those over 65 and facing barriers due to age.

Moving Forward with Future Programming

LRAC will be taking your feedback into consideration while planning the programming for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 and we intend to implement suggested programs that will best meet the priorities dictated by the Needs Assessment Survey.

Again, we’d like to congratulate Penny Kagigebi as well as thank each and every one of you who completed LRAC’s Needs Assessment Survey. Your answers and suggestions will make a significant impact on future program opportunities for the communities of the Lake Region.
