For Sarah, the importance and impact of art can never be understated. With a BA in studio arts and after numerous years volunteering and engaging in local arts programming, Sarah joined the LRAC board to be tuned in to a larger area of the regional art world and learn more about grant opportunities for the arts in Minnesota. As a multi-media visual art, she has enjoyed exploring a wide range of mediums and is always excited for new opportunities. Her core work has focused on body image especially around ownership and journey to empowerment.

Employed at the University of MN, Morris in the Office of Community Engagement, she coordinates co-curricular programming with student leaders designed to bring students and community together. Art is a key part in building vibrate communities.
