Half a century in the Alexandria Lakes Area! Michelle was born in the Douglas County Hospital, then educated at Lincoln, Central, and Jefferson, calling Alexandria home her entire life.  From early involvement in Girl Scouts, band, and Key Club, she was raised to value and be involved with service and community organizations.

Michelle's interest and involvement in her community continues today where she is an active board member for Red Willow Arts Coalition, Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, and Minnesota Dance Club, while also working closely with Alexandria Downtowners as well as regularly volunteering with Alexandria Senior Center.

These days Michelle can be found driving the MomTaxi for her band/sports/drama minded teenager, summertime Thursdays rocking out at the Courthouse Concerts, sunny drives around the lakes, and evenings around the bonfire- ideal Minnesota activities!
