Lee Smalt serves as Administrative and Programs Manager at Lake Region Arts Council, where he leads artist-facing programs and services for the nine-county west central Minnesota region while providing executive support to the Executive Director. His work spans program operations, organizational infrastructure, and connecting regional artists to resources and community.

Lee brings over a decade of experience in creative services, marketing, and production. He holds a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Minnesota State University Moorhead and has worked across agencies, in-house teams, and as an independent practitioner in motion design, web design, video production, and digital strategy. He has served as a grant panelist for the Minnesota State Arts Board and is Vice President and Mentorship Committee Chair for Nice Moves MN, a statewide organization supporting Minnesota's animation, motion design, and visual effects community.

Lee is based in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
