Celebrate decades of encouraging and supporting the Arts in west-central Minnesota! Lake Region Arts Council invites you to an unforgettable evening at Oyate Hall, University of Minnesota Morris on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 5:00–8:00 PM.
The evening includes a social hour with live music, followed by a delicious buffet-style dinner featuring Short Ribs, Lemon & Thyme Chicken, Spelt & Mushroom Risotto, and sides.

I found the conference a timely opportunity to connect, learn, and refocus on how we continue to grow resilience and imagination in our sector—especially amid changing landscapes in funding, technology, and community needs.
As I complete my first year as Executive Director of the Lake Region Arts Council (LRAC), I find myself reflecting on an experience that has been both humbling and inspiring.
Lake Region Arts Council announces over $122,000 in Fall 2024 Legacy Grants, supporting six individual artists and eleven organizations through funding from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Beginning on January 17th and running through March 15th of 2022, LRAC Galley is hosting an ‘Emerging Artists Exhibition’ that will feature the work of five selected regional artists that live within in the nine counties that LRAC represents. Art media in this exhibit consist of fabric and fibers, paintings with aerosol, acrylic and oil paints, as well as sculptures and beadwork.
