LRAC Board and Staff Members Welcome Miranda (Hubert) Lape!

Miranda Lape steps in as newest member of LRAC staff.

Miranda and her family.

The Lake Region Arts Council is happy to announce that Miranda Lape joined the LRAC staff on Aug. 2, 2021. She is training with Betsy Ostenson to learn the Grant Program Manager position and will assume this role when Betsy retires on Dec. 31, 2021.

Miranda, her husband, and baby daughter have moved to Fergus Falls from Orem, Utah. This is a homecoming for her as she was born and raised here. A previous student of our LRAC Artist Mentor program, Miranda has worked for the Daily Journal and volunteered at the Fergus Falls Library. She has a Master’s of Public Administration, Nonprofit Management Emphasis from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor’s of Latin American Studies, Civic Engagement Leadership Minor from Brigham Young University.

LRAC has been Serving the Arts since 1977

LRAC has many opportunities for artists in the region.

Miranda is excited about her new position with us: "I love the arts, Fergus Falls, and LRAC, and am honored for this opportunity to bring what I have learned back to my hometown." On behalf of the LRAC Board and staff, we welcome Miranda back home and look forward to working with her!
