Mary Beth Gilsdorf of Detroit Lakes has been heavily involved in various arts events including the Detroit Lakes Street Faire and 150 Sails Up project.

Becoming interested in participating on the Board stems from experiencing firsthand the positive impacts Lake Region Arts Council has on the arts. "I've seen what the Legacy Amendment has done for our region,” Mary Beth explains. It is her belief that “LRAC is the catalyst for all things art."
