I found the conference a timely opportunity to connect, learn, and refocus on how we continue to grow resilience and imagination in our sector—especially amid changing landscapes in funding, technology, and community needs.
As I complete my first year as Executive Director of the Lake Region Arts Council (LRAC), I find myself reflecting on an experience that has been both humbling and inspiring.
Lake Region Arts Council announces over $122,000 in Fall 2024 Legacy Grants, supporting six individual artists and eleven organizations through funding from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
The open call to apply for Off-the-Wall exhibition is August 1st – 18th, 2022. Deadline to apply is August 18th at 5pm. Selected artists will be notified by September 5th, 2022.
From July 5th through September 30th of 2022, LRAC’s main gallery will be hosting a special exhibition with guest juror, Tasha Kubesh. Featuring the works of 18 different artists from the region, this display includes artwork of all styles and artistic mediums.
