Diverse arts initiatives are springing to life! Lake Region Arts Council funds projects spanning from graphic arts tours to theatrical performances in its spring grants round.
Lake Region Arts Council awards nearly $100,000 to 18 regional arts organizations supporting theatre, music, visual arts in central Minnesota.
Lake Region Arts Council, in partnership with West Central Initiative, is pleased to announce Artists on Main Street! This program, developed by Springboard for the Arts, is a new, year-long initiative designed to support rural community development and revitalizing local Downtown areas. The deadline to apply for this opportunity is Friday, October 7, 2022.
Beginning on January 17th and running through March 15th of 2022, LRAC Galley is hosting an ‘Emerging Artists Exhibition’ that will feature the work of five selected regional artists that live within in the nine counties that LRAC represents. Art media in this exhibit consist of fabric and fibers, paintings with aerosol, acrylic and oil paints, as well as sculptures and beadwork.
